Injury Resolution Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +22 more states.

📋 Description

• Investigate, assess, negotiate, and resolve bodily injury claims.

• Manage injury claims related to both personal and commercial auto, including uninsured and underinsured motorists.

• Review and analyze insurance coverage, applying policy conditions, provisions, exclusions, and endorsements.

• Investigate and collect information to ascertain the facts of loss, liability, and potential for subrogation.

• Proactively oversee and consistently assess the claim, with particular focus on the nature and severity of the injury.

• Conduct medical history investigations as required.

• Determine and continuously assess appropriate reserves.

• Develop a plan of action to advance the file towards resolution.

• Negotiate and settle an average of at least 20 claims per month.

• Maintain proficiency in various claims systems and manage follow-up practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A college degree or its equivalent is required for this position.

• A strong understanding of insurance and the claims organization is essential.

• Significant experience as a claims resolution specialist or in a related field is preferred.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and investigative skills for telephone and personal claims interactions.

• Familiarity with tort law and an in-depth knowledge of medical terminology and treatments.

• Capability to obtain, analyze, and assess medical history and documentation.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

• Proven ability to evaluate complex and serious injury claims and negotiate to a successful resolution.

• Comprehensive knowledge of all personal and commercial lines policies and coverage offered by the company.
