This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Conduct customer presentations

• Stage systems

• Finalize system documentation

• Perform live system upgrades

• Maintain the integrity of the architecture/design

• Execute field engineering responsibilities during a radio system upgrade cycle

• Upgrade and deploy a variety of devices including network equipment, Windows-based systems, virtual machines, and proprietary Motorola devices

• Act as the customer-facing technical resource throughout the upgrade process

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, or Networking OR 3-5 years of experience in Engineering or Wireless Communications

• Familiarity with radio communication systems, radio propagation, RF, wireless, or broadband/LTE technologies

• Experience with Project 25 products (both trunked and conventional)

• Knowledge of IP networking, network design principles, and troubleshooting (including Ethernet, TCP/IP, L2/L3, MPLS)

• Proficient in the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Workstation Operating Systems, specifically Windows 10 and 11; Switches, particularly Aruba and Juniper; Firewalls, specifically Fortinet and Juniper; Routers, specifically MNR and Juniper

• Bilingual in English and French

• Licensed Professional Engineer or possess the necessary academic and professional experience to achieve the accreditation

• Preference for candidates residing in the BC, AB, or QC regions, ideally near a major airport
