Ingeniero de Automatización y Gobierno – Power Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Define and uphold the governance model for Power Platform and Power Automate.

• Design and manage the official environment roadmap for business automations.

• Implement and standardize ALM for critical solutions through Solutions, Connection References, Environment Variables, and Power Platform Pipelines.

• Integrate the deployment strategy with Azure DevOps.

• Design, socialize, and enforce DLP policies and connector controls.

• Build and maintain a master inventory of automations.

• Define the monitoring and observability model for automations.

• Support business and makers in designing sustainable automations.

• Identify automations created using agents, GPTs, copilots, or other productivity tools.

• Participate in the technical evaluation of new automation cases.

• Create runbooks, standards, templates, and reusable documentation.

• Promote best practices in security, quality, and resilience.

• Lead or assist in implementing a Center of Excellence model.

• Define success indicators for the strategy.

• Coordinate with architecture, security, operations, data, and development teams.

• Regularly present the progress of strategy adoption to business areas and leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• University degree / Professional career.

• 5-10 years of professional experience.

• Power Platform: Power Automate Cloud, Power Apps, Dataverse, Solutions, Connection References, Environment Variables, Managed Environments, Power Platform Pipelines, and Center of Excellence Starter Kit.

• Governance and security: DLP, connector control, environment control, licensing, ownership, asset inventory, criticality classification, and operational continuity.

• Integration and development: REST APIs, JSON, HTTP, webhooks, Microsoft Graph, Azure Functions or AWS Lambdas, Logic Apps, PowerShell or Bash, Python, C# or Node.js for extensions and advanced automation.

• Application development: experience in designing and building business applications, backend services, integrations, and reusable components with maintainability, security, and support criteria.

• Cloud and platform: solid experience in AWS, particularly with services like Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudWatch, EventBridge, IAM, Secrets Manager, Step Functions, and cloud-native integration patterns.

• Data and enterprise integrations: SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Excel, SQL Server, Azure Storage, OneDrive, SAP, or equivalent integrations based on organizational context.

• CI/CD and platform: Azure DevOps, Git repositories, versioning, PRs, approvals, auditable deployments, change traceability, and validation automation.

• Observability: Power Platform analytics, Data export, Dynatrace, operational metrics, alerts, and root cause analysis.

• Architecture and operation: process analysis, low-code solution design with guardrails, post-deployment support, runbooks, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
