Infrastructure Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and develop backend services, APIs, and platform infrastructure that drive our system.

• Participate in the entire product feature lifecycle — from backend logic and data pipelines to the deployment and operational framework that ensures reliable delivery.

• Spearhead the creation of our observability stack — including metrics, logging, and alerting — and implement practices that foster team engagement in maintaining production health.

• Take ownership of and enhance our CI/CD pipelines, deployment tools, and release processes to expedite and secure software delivery.

• Facilitate incident response and postmortems collaboratively, and proactively build the automation and tooling necessary to resolve recurring challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a software engineering position with a strong emphasis on infrastructure or platform development.

• Proficient in Python 3 — fully capable of managing backend services and APIs from start to finish, rather than just creating scripts.

• Practical experience with Kubernetes and GCP (or a similar cloud service), preferably in production settings.

• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines.

• Knowledge of observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana, along with a keen sense of effective monitoring practices.

• A team-oriented mindset towards reliability — you excel in guiding a team rather than merely addressing issues independently.
