Infrastructure Engineer – Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create and implement solutions for automating the lifecycle management of bare metal using cloud-native technologies.

• Advocate for best practices in large-scale bare metal provisioning.

• Design, construct, test, and launch features aimed at enhancing platform stability.

• Develop, refine, and streamline the provisioning engine, internal APIs, and associated applications.

• Engage in and lead code reviews to uphold high quality standards.

• Establish and oversee the infrastructure that supports both our and our customers' applications.

• Report and monitor issues and incidents to the appropriate teams.

• Identify opportunities for enhancements in observability, monitoring, and code quality.

• Maintain documentation for all developed solutions and outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• In-depth knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems.

• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, particularly Terraform and ArgoCD.

• Strong expertise in Kubernetes, including building and managing containers and container images.

• Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, Go, or Ruby.

• Understanding of security and operational best practices.

• Hands-on experience with Container Network Interfaces (CNIs) like Cilium.

• Previous experience in low-level infrastructure automation.

• Preferred experience managing large clusters of physical servers.

• Familiarity with distributed systems is a plus.
