This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Uphold Bullhorn's standard service level agreement (SLA) for infrastructure and system uptime at 99.95% or higher.
• Act as an escalation point for hardware failures and infrastructure incidents, addressing complex issues outside of L1 scope.
• Create repeatable diagnostic methods for the team.
• Independently manage critical production incidents, coordinating responses across multiple functions.
• Supervise the strategy for datacenter inventory and the management of spare parts depots.
• Ensure that datacenter facilities are maintained to exceptional standards.
• Oversee the administration of Linux (RHEL/CentOS, Debian) and Windows Server environments.
• Manage enterprise SAN and NAS platforms, including iSCSI, FCP, CIFS, and NFS.
• Administer server hardware platforms, chassis management systems, and hypervisor environments.
• Lead infrastructure maintenance independently to ensure uptime SLAs align with change management processes.
• Maintain Infrastructure Asset Management systems.
• Utilize monitoring and observability tools to ensure unified visibility across systems.
• Independently manage medium-to-large datacenter infrastructure projects from initial scoping through to delivery.
• Maintain relationships with vendors for enterprise hardware and services.
• Generate high-quality technical documentation.
• Over 7 years of experience in hardware administration, systems troubleshooting, and infrastructure engineering within a datacenter environment.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Advanced skills in Linux (RHEL/CentOS, Debian) and Windows Server administration.
• Extensive knowledge of SAN and NAS technologies (iSCSI, FCP, CIFS, NFS) along with enterprise storage array management.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and the administration of enterprise network devices throughout datacenter fabrics.
• Proven experience with server hardware platforms, chassis management, and hypervisor administration at a datacenter scale.
• Familiarity with public cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid connectivity to support on-premises environments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead infrastructure projects and manage vendor relationships independently.
• Experience in a SaaS and/or high-volume production datacenter environment is highly preferred.
• Willingness to travel to data centers for periods of 1 to 2 weeks consecutively, as often as once per quarter.
• Preference for a work schedule that includes Friday to Tuesday (with Wednesday/Thursday off) is strongly desired.
• CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification is highly preferred.
• ITIL and SOC experience is strongly preferred.
