Infrastructure Engineer – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Assist in the deployment and upkeep of distributed infrastructure that supports Nexus's L1 blockchain and DEX.

• Aid in enhancing transaction pipelines for improved speed and reliability under the guidance of senior team members.

• Contribute to the creation of secure, production-grade systems that align with performance standards.

• Help sustain high-availability infrastructure across both cloud and distributed settings.

• Learn and implement best practices regarding observability, reliability, and secure operational procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in software engineering, with some familiarity with infrastructure or distributed systems.

• Proficient in Rust, Go, or another systems programming language.

• Basic knowledge of distributed systems principles (consensus, fault tolerance, latency).

• Practical experience with Docker; knowledge of Kubernetes is advantageous.

• Familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or similar platforms.

• Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.

• Basic experience with at least one major cloud service provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

• A strong desire to learn about secure and fault-tolerant infrastructure practices.

• Proficient in written and spoken Business English.
