β’ Be the inaugural member of a new Platform team, taking charge of developing the infrastructure function from the ground up β from strategic planning to execution, with complete ownership and influence across the organization;
β’ Evolve the infrastructure that has developed alongside the product into a sophisticated, well-organized platform β featuring clear service mappings, dependency structures, and designated ownership areas;

β’ Establish a comprehensive observability system: including metrics, logs, traces, and alerting β enabling the team to proactively monitor system health rather than merely responding to problems as they arise;
β’ Enhance security measures: focusing on access management, secrets handling, and defense against external threats β embedding security as a fundamental element of the engineering culture;
β’ Streamline data infrastructure β guaranteeing stable and efficient data pipelines for analytics and informed business decision-making;
β’ Develop platform templates for new services β allowing product teams to prioritize feature development over infrastructure concerns;
β’ Collaborate across three primary business domains β Product, Growth/Marketing, and Payments β creating scalable solutions that benefit the entire organization rather than just individual teams.
β’ Over 3 years of professional experience in Infrastructure / DevOps;
β’ Extensive experience with Kubernetes + Helm (clusters, deployments, autoscaling, health checks);
β’ Proficiency in GCP β encompassing projects, networking, services, and access management;
β’ Expertise in Terraform β focusing on infrastructure as code, modules, and state management;
β’ Experience with CI/CD β constructing and maintaining pipelines;
β’ Familiarity with observability practices β including monitoring, logging, and alerting (Prometheus/Grafana or similar);
β’ Understanding of security principles β including access control, secrets management, and protection against external threats;
β’ Capability to write production-ready code β beyond mere scripting (Bash/Python), also able to contribute to backend development (Node.js/TypeScript) to address engineering challenges;
β’ Ownership mentality β proactively spotting risks, driving solutions, and considering business impact in decision-making;
β’ Regularly leveraging AI tools in your workflow to enhance efficiency and broaden perspectives.
