Infrastructure Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance our cloud-based infrastructure, with an emphasis on high availability, low latency, and cost efficiency.

• Collaborate closely with engineering and research teams to integrate infrastructure components with product features, ensuring superior system performance and user satisfaction.

• Serve as the subject matter expert in infrastructure while designing new products and incorporating new technologies into our existing product lineup.

• Create automation scripts, tools, and frameworks to optimize deployment, monitoring, and maintenance processes.

• Enforce comprehensive security measures that comply with industry standards and best practices to protect sensitive data and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.

• Examine performance metrics to identify optimization opportunities and propose data-driven enhancements.

• Engage in code reviews, contribute to open-source initiatives, and provide mentorship to junior engineers.

• Remain informed about emerging trends, technologies, and methodologies, applying this knowledge to elevate our infrastructure capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in designing, implementing, or consulting on applications and infrastructures.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Proficiency in Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, etc.

• Knowledge in Configuration Management: Ansible, Puppet, Chef.

• Familiarity with Container Orchestration: Kubernetes, Docker Swarm.

• Expertise in Monitoring and Logging: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).

• Skills in Programming/Development: Python, Node.js, Bash, Go, Ruby, CI/CD pipelines, and version control.

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
