Infrastructure Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Enhance the core cloud platform of Amplemarket to ensure high availability and optimal performance.

• Identify blind spots and implement observability measures to address them.

• Collaborate closely with product engineers to design dependable rollouts of new features.

• Conduct code reviews, evaluate proposals, and engage in architectural discussions.

• Develop reproducible automation solutions for the most pressing infrastructure requirements.

• Establish strategies to streamline the code deployment process for our internal teams.

• Stay vigilant regarding potential threats and patches, maintaining a security-focused approach.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the development process and workflow.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in designing and maintaining complex, large, and evolving systems.

• When evaluating new system designs or code, you instinctively consider possible issues such as edge cases, failure modes, bottlenecks, migrations, releases, and key metrics.

• A passion for debugging and uncovering the root causes of production problems.

• Proactive in addressing issues; when something is broken, you take initiative to fix it or propose enhancements.

• You find it hard to relax if something lacks sufficient metrics to confirm proper functionality.

• Reside within the GMT-3 to GMT+2 time zones.
