Infrastructure Asset Management Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Maintain a thorough and current inventory of infrastructure assets throughout the organization.

• Ensure that asset records encompass necessary attributes such as ownership, classification, lifecycle status, and compliance details.

• Configure and manage integrations, automated discovery tools, and data feeds to facilitate accurate asset population.

• Monitor and verify automated asset ingestion processes to guarantee data quality and consistency.

• Conduct regular reconciliation activities across CMDB, procurement, finance, and associated systems.

• Implement validation controls to detect and resolve data inconsistencies, gaps, and duplicate records.

• Oversee asset lifecycle information, including deployment, warranty tracking, refresh cycles, and end-of-life status.

• Assist in audit and compliance efforts by generating precise reports, documentation, and evidence.

• Ensure that infrastructure asset data adheres to internal governance standards and regulatory requirements.

• Provide reporting, dashboards, and analytics related to asset inventory, trends, risks, and operational exceptions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance asset management processes and operational efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience managing infrastructure asset repositories or CMDB platforms.

• Understanding of infrastructure asset lifecycle management and governance practices.

• Experience with automated discovery tools, integrations, and data ingestion processes.

• Strong knowledge of data reconciliation, validation, and data quality controls.

• Familiarity with IT infrastructure environments, including hardware, software, and enterprise systems.

• Experience in supporting audit, compliance, and reporting initiatives.

• Ability to analyze asset data and offer operational insights and recommendations.

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Experience with ITSM or asset management tools is preferred.
