Infrastructure Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Administration of servers and environments

• Installation, configuration, and maintenance of both physical and virtual servers (Windows and/or Linux).

• Monitoring of performance, resource utilization, and application of security patches.

• Management of backup, restoration, and contingency protocols.

• Management of network and connectivity

• Administration of LAN/WAN network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls.

• Ensuring the availability of links, VPNs, and secure connections between various sites and the cloud.

• Management of cloud environments

• Oversight of environments in AWS, OCI, private cloud, and on-premises.

• Implementation of automation, security policies, and cost control measures in the cloud.

• Information security management

• Establishment and maintenance of security policies, access controls, and corporate antivirus solutions.

• Monitoring of vulnerabilities and support for audits and compliance (LGPD, ISO 27001, etc.).

• Support and incident resolution

• Management of infrastructure incidents at levels 2 and 3.

• Support for the Service Desk and documentation of solutions within the knowledge base.

• Management of assets and licensing

• Keeping hardware, software, and license inventories current.

• Capacity planning and recommendations for preventive acquisitions.

• Involvement in projects and improvements

• Participation in technology upgrade initiatives, migrations, and automation projects.

• Proposing and implementing continuous enhancements in performance, cost efficiency, and security.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in administering Windows and Linux servers.

• Practical understanding of networking and security principles.

• Experience with virtualization, including the creation and maintenance of virtual machines.

• Strong troubleshooting abilities to diagnose and resolve complex incidents.

• Capability to produce clear and up-to-date technical documentation.

• Analytical and collaborative mindset with a sense of priority and responsibility.

• Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox, or similar.

• Proficiency in Windows Server and Linux environments, encompassing administration and troubleshooting tasks.

• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Zabbix, Grafana, PRTG, or their equivalents.

• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, VLANs, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and firewalls.

• Experience with backup and restoration processes, such as Veeam, Acronis, or similar solutions.

• Understanding of automation scripting, including PowerShell, Bash, or basic Python.

• Knowledge of databases like SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, etc.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Understanding of observability and logging tools (ELK Stack, Prometheus, CloudWatch).
