Information Security Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Evaluate and report on clients’ data and cyber security status

• Create and propose customized security enhancement strategies

• Provide guidance on cyber security regulations, standards, and best practices

• Design, execute, and deliver security management systems and training programs

• Oversee and execute client implementation projects

• Collaborate closely with internal teams and clients to convert requirements into clear business outcomes

• Effectively communicate intricate technical concepts to various stakeholders

• Manage multiple client projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment

⛳️ Requirements

• Excellent communicator, capable of clearly and confidently articulating complex ideas

• Commercially savvy, with the aptitude to understand client requirements and provide value-driven solutions

• Highly organized, methodical, and detail-focused

• Critical thinker with robust problem-solving skills

• Comfortable working independently as well as within a collaborative team environment

• Enthusiastic about cyber security and eager to expand knowledge

• Experience in data protection, with a solid understanding of relevant data protection laws (e.g., UK GDPR)

• Familiarity with ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST CSF, CAF, HIPAA, DSPT

• Experience in gap analysis, auditing, or penetration testing

• Skills in process and procedure development

• Background in software or AI development/testing

• Experience in client-facing roles

• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CREST, etc.)
