Information Security Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Providing guidance to national clients on information security standards (VdS 10000, ISO/IEC 27001, BSI IT-Grundschutz, CISIS12)

• Establishing information security management systems (ISMS) at client locations

• Creating policies, procedural documentation, and decision-making papers

• Organizing, coordinating, and implementing training and awareness initiatives

• Designing, overseeing, and executing the comprehensive information security process

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed education in commercial, legal, or IT fields, or a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or Law

• Relevant professional experience in information or IT security

• Familiarity with BSI IT-Grundschutz and ISO/IEC 27001 is preferred

• Strong IT skills and a high affinity for technology

• Methodical and goal-oriented approach to work

• Excellent communication abilities

• Willingness to travel frequently and a strong commitment level

• Fluent business-level proficiency in German
