Information Security Incident Specialist, Fluent Ukrainian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Oversee security and operational incidents from initiation to resolution, including investigation, coordination, and response;

• Engage directly with Clients and stakeholders during Data Breach incidents;

• Perform Root Cause Analysis, establish preventive measures, and create management reports;

• Evaluate Clients’ workflows and incident patterns to pinpoint risks and enhance security processes;

• Assess the security posture of software, platforms, and third-party vendors;

• Review new hiring locations for adherence to data protection and security standards;

• Formulate incident response procedures and keep internal security documentation and knowledge base current.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in investigating and managing information security incidents (minimum of 1 year)

• Experience in crafting incident management procedures and documentation

• Analytical mindset with the capability to make swift decisions to reduce incident impact

• Strong self-organization abilities and the capacity to prioritize tasks independently

• Understanding of data privacy principles and breach notification obligations

• Proficient in English at level B2 or above.

• Familiarity with OSINT methodologies for investigations (Preferred)

• Experience in evaluating the security of software, platforms, and third-party vendors (Preferred)

• Basic understanding of security tools logic (SIEM, EDR, DLP, NGFW, VPN, VDI) (Preferred)
