Information Security Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Facilitate existing or newly recognized initiatives among stakeholder organizations to create synergies and minimize the risk of non-compliance with both internal and external regulations.

• Assist in change management efforts in collaboration with federal authorization entities.

• Contribute to various security domains within the Salesforce Government Cloud Division, including but not limited to continuous monitoring, advisory services, incident response, AI adoption, and security documentation.

• Provide consultation to business or security stakeholders regarding information security requirements and their relevance to business processes, products, or services.

• Establish and sustain relationships with key business, legal, Employee Success, Internal Audit, technical/engineering stakeholders, and other organizational partners who offer expertise in security requirements and solution management.

• Clearly communicate accreditation positions and programs to relevant business stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, accreditation, and related security fields.

• Familiarity with Government Cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, and GCP (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, etc.).

• Proficiency in security-related analysis, creating metrics and dashboards, and summarizing extensive data sets.

• Capability to work effectively with both business and technical domains and bridge the gap between them.

• Knowledge of security frameworks such as FedRAMP20x and DoD SRG.

• Proven eagerness to acquire new skills and innovate.

• Exceptional interpersonal, relationship-building, and organizational abilities.

• Strong analytical and process development skills.

• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality.

• Experience collaborating directly with Authorizing Officials in Federal Civilian agencies, including the Department of Defense (DoD), particularly within the DISA Cloud Assessment Division.
