Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +20 more states.

📋 Description

• Implementing the Threat Intelligence Platform (TIP)

• Monitoring critical threats

• Providing actionable, detection-oriented intelligence to security teams and leadership

• Identifying, analyzing, and tracking cyber threats that could affect the organization

• Gathering intelligence from a diverse array of internal and external sources

• Analyzing and contextualizing threat intelligence

• Assisting security operations with actionable insights

• Observing and analyzing intelligence from commercial, industry, and OSINT sources

• Maintaining and utilizing Threat Intelligence Platforms (TIP)

• Integrating intelligence across various security tools

• Collecting, enriching, and managing actionable Indicators of Compromise (IOCs)

• Providing real-time intelligence context during investigations and incidents

• Responding to urgent and time-sensitive intelligence requests from stakeholders

• Producing and delivering intelligence reports and briefings for both technical and non-technical audiences

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Cyber Threat Intelligence, SOC, Incident Response, Threat Hunting, or similar cybersecurity roles

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Extensive experience in operating and optimizing top-tier Threat Intelligence Platforms (TIPs)

• Proven experience utilizing commercial threat intelligence services like Flashpoint, Recorded Future, Intel 471, ZeroFox, or similar to meet operational intelligence needs

• Strong understanding of the intelligence lifecycle, with a demonstrated ability to operationalize intelligence from collection through dissemination and action

• Advanced knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework, with experience in applying it to threat analysis, detection engineering, and reporting

• Proven experience in managing and enriching IOCs, focusing on translating intelligence into quantifiable detection, blocking, and mitigation outcomes

• Solid understanding of SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and case management platforms, and how intelligence enhances investigative workflows

• Experience in analyzing vulnerability and exploit intelligence to evaluate real-world risk, likelihood of exploitation, and potential business impact
