Information Management Analyst II

📋 Description

• Gather and evaluate program data, documenting and disseminating lessons learned and best practices for specific projects to enhance decision-making and contribute to the ICT4D learning agenda.

• Serve as the technical product lead for the Humanitarian Response IM platform, ensuring efficient management, compliance with security protocols, and adherence to standard operating procedures.

• Provide advisory support on the humanitarian response IM platform, promoting its adoption in close collaboration with key stakeholders.

• Assist in the research and analysis of fundamental ICT4D technologies to drive innovation, scaling, and the implementation of new releases in line with existing standards.

• Oversee the operationalization and decommissioning of both new and existing platforms within the ICT4D Technology Portfolio, following established standards.

• Contribute to capacity-building and learning initiatives in ICT4D for staff and partners by developing learning and training strategies, conducting workshops, facilitating a community of practice, and providing coaching.

• Aid in monitoring and analyzing the Humanitarian Response platform and other relevant ICT4D platforms to identify new scaling opportunities and establish product roadmaps.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in information systems, engineering, or a related IT field, or equivalent experience.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in administration, maintenance, development, design, and operationalization of software systems.

• Proven experience in training both technical and non-technical stakeholders on system lifecycle, best practices, system enhancements, and maintenance cycles.

• Demonstrated experience utilizing digital technologies in international development, humanitarian efforts, and/or low-resource contexts.
