Information and Communications Technology Engineer – ICT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Designing and managing ICT and low-voltage systems, which encompass structured cabling, telecommunications, access control, video surveillance (CCTV), and security frameworks.

• Employing BIM tools for the modeling and coordination of ICT systems alongside other engineering disciplines, utilizing software such as Autodesk Revit – this is essential.

• Gaining a comprehensive understanding of and ensuring the delivery of project requirements related to scope, budget, and timeline.

• Identifying and accelerating the engineering deliverables for various projects.

• Creating and updating project scope of work documentation and revisions throughout the design development phase.

• Compiling engineering calculations, system layouts, and technical documentation for ICT infrastructure.

• Generating technical documentation necessary for project implementation, including design criteria, technical specifications, and equipment data sheets.

• Assessing shop drawings and contractor submissions.

• Developing models and drawings through BIM and CAD modeling tools.

• Facilitating collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout project development and execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, telecommunications, IT, or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated expertise as an ICT / telecommunications / low-voltage systems engineer.

• Proficiency in written and spoken English at B1 level or higher.

• Experience in ICT design, including structured cabling systems, telecommunications infrastructure, and security solutions.

• Background in designing low-voltage systems for industrial, commercial, or mission-critical environments.

• Familiarity with BIM modeling tools and design software.

• Practical experience with Autodesk Revit – this is essential.

• Experience in multidisciplinary engineering settings.

• Knowledge of telecommunications standards and codes pertaining to low-voltage systems.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Capability to multi-task and prioritize effectively while adhering to project deadlines.
