Informatics Change Management Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Acts as the primary leader in the planning, coordination, and execution of organizational change management (OCM) strategies for initiatives in clinical informatics.

• Facilitates the seamless adoption of new systems, workflows, and interoperability solutions throughout VHA facilities.

• Creates communication plans, stakeholder engagement strategies, and training programs that align with Agile delivery and clinical safety standards.

• Proven proficiency in Agile environments (e.g., supporting PI planning, backlog prioritization, and stakeholder readiness).

• Familiarity with Prosci or similar OCM frameworks (like the ADKAR model).

• Development of communication and training materials for both clinical and technical audiences.

• Knowledge of VA VistA/CPRS, Cerner Millennium/Oracle Health, and interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR).

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.

• A minimum of 8 years' experience in change management or organizational development roles within healthcare or federal health IT programs.

• Over 5 years of experience implementing change strategies for clinical informatics systems, EHR transitions, or interoperability projects.
