Informatics and Analytics Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Offer support to the Strategic Management department.

• Manage the Electronic Medical Record system, currently Sigmund Software/Aura (SAAS model).

• Execute daily, weekly, and monthly EMR administration responsibilities.

• Analyze data for recurring reporting at Gateway Rehabilitation Center.

• Maintain the service desk and informatics tickets with prompt and precise responses.

• Oversee EMR vendor responses to service task tickets.

• Coordinate Gateway's involvement in the vendor’s user groups.

• Review and disseminate communications, release notes, training materials, and updates from the EMR vendor.

• Manage data definitions, data integrity concerns, service types, forms, and policies.

• Provide continuous staff training on the EMR and associated workflows.

• Prepare variation analysis worksheets.

• Create graphs depicting market trends, census data, financial information, and other ongoing reports.

• Supply data on legislative issues related to substance use disorder treatment and funding.

• Provide information for regulatory bodies.

• Gather data for grant applications.

• Perform necessary clerical tasks.

• Assist with special projects as required.

• Travel to various Gateway locations as needed.

• Attend mandatory training sessions and in-services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Experience with electronic medical record software products.

• Familiarity with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 security regulations.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word and PowerPoint.

• Advanced skills in Excel.

• Knowledge and experience with SQL.

• Experience with Tableau.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Must reside in the Pittsburgh, PA area or nearby counties.

• Willingness to travel throughout the region as necessary.

• PA Criminal History Record check required.

• PA Child Abuse and FBI Fingerprinting Clearances required.

• Must pass a drug test.

• Must pass a 2-Step TB test.

• Preferred: Experience with EMR in Behavioral Health.

• Preferred: Experience with Sigmund Software/Aura.
