Info Security Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Promote information security practices and protocols throughout the organization.

• Investigate, assess, and provide recommendations for technologies, products, and solutions that support business objectives.

• Offer technical insights, establish system security controls, and evaluate as well as recommend new and emerging security products and technologies.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to conduct threat modeling on technical designs and the implementation of solutions.

• Serve as a subject matter expert and collaborate with fellow engineers to determine suitable security controls.

• Enhance and sustain vulnerability management processes and metrics.

• Support various risk assessments.

• Aid in vendor risk assessments and deliver customer assurance.

• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in information security.

• Direct experience in two or more of the following domains: Threat modeling, Secure system design and development, System security assessments, Vulnerability management, Security risk management.

• Familiarity with FIPS, NIST 800-53/CSF, or other pertinent frameworks.

• Significant experience in cloud security.

• Relevant security certification is preferred (CC, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, SANS, etc.).

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
