Influencer and Affiliate Executive – Social Media

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Develop and edit engaging TikTok content that reflects the brand's tone and objectives.

• Create and manage content calendars while providing creative direction.

• Collaborate with content creators and junior team members to maintain consistency and quality.

• Conduct outreach, onboard, and oversee communications for our clients’ affiliates.

• Manage the affiliate community discussions and brainstorm new competitions/incentives to enhance the clients’ Affiliate GMV.

• Explore innovative ways to keep our affiliates actively engaged.

• Supervise daily operations of client TikTok Shops.

• Manage and optimize product listings, inventory, and promotional activities.

• Perform affiliate outreach and monitor affiliate centers for compliance and performance.

• Lead strategy formulation to boost TikTok Shop sales and engagement.

• Assist junior team members in understanding TikTok platform features, trends, and algorithm behaviors.

• Utilize performance data to refine campaigns and strategies for ongoing improvement.

• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behaviors to generate insights.

• Serve as the primary contact for key clients, fostering strong and responsive relationships.

• Provide regular performance reports and strategic updates.

• Work in close collaboration with internal marketing, creative, and affiliate teams to execute integrated strategies.

• Partner with influencers and external stakeholders to enhance visibility and sales.

• Assist leadership in preparing high-level updates for both internal and external stakeholders.

• Support Account Executives in mastering TikTok Shop mechanics, strategy, and client communication.

• Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team.

• Contribute to the training and onboarding of junior staff as needed.

• Engage in team activities and initiatives that foster a positive culture.


⛳️ Requirements

• Ideally 1–3 years of experience in affiliate marketing, influencer management, or e-commerce.

• Desirable proven experience in outreach, onboarding, and managing affiliates or content creators.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (client-facing role).

• Ability to develop and manage content calendars along with basic editing of TikTok-style video content.

• Strong skills in data interpretation and performance analysis (utilizing tools like TikTok Shop data center, spreadsheets, and affiliate dashboards).

• Highly self-motivated with a start-up mindset and the capability to work independently.

• Comfortable in a fast-paced, remote team environment.

• Creative thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and ideation.

• Strong organizational and time management abilities across multiple clients or brands.

• A natural relationship builder, adept at engaging creators, clients, and internal stakeholders.

• Ideally familiar with tools such as Canva and CapCut.

• Experience in supporting or leading affiliate competitions, incentives, or gamified campaigns.

• Understanding of e-commerce metrics including GMV, conversion rate, CTR, and CPA.

• Based in South Africa, preferably in Cape Town.

• Comfortable working in a UK-aligned timezone (SAST / GMT+2) for effective collaboration.

• Willingness to occasionally work flexible hours to accommodate creator/client schedules.
