This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Lead live sharing circles aimed at Indigenous youth.
• Assist participants in reflecting on and learning from the video segments.
• Foster group discussions and connections centered on mental health and healing.
• Enhance mental health literacy and promote open conversations regarding mental health.
• Work towards diminishing the stigma associated with mental health and illness.
• Organize and deliver the Jack Talk for Indigenous Youth.
• Engage with peers through contact-based education and peer-to-peer outreach.
• Must be Indigenous youth aged 18–29.
• Passionate about joining a movement of Indigenous young individuals advocating for mental health and wellbeing discussions.
• This is an entry-level opportunity.
• Participate in extensive training covering group facilitation, public speaking, and advocacy.
• Conduct essential mental health discussions with peers in a safe and supportive environment.
• Paid position with an honorarium for completing training.
• Honorarium for preparing and delivering the Jack Talk for Indigenous Youth.
• In-depth training on group facilitation, public speaking, and advocacy.
