Independent Property Field Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Efficiently and promptly manage all assigned claims with minimal supervision.

• Make claim decisions within the delegated authority according to company and carrier policies.

• Accurately interpret policy coverages and implement appropriate claims practices.

• Establish and communicate reserves in accordance with carrier expectations.

• Stay informed about insurance policies, guidelines, and industry practices.

• Comprehend local construction methods, pricing, and repair standards.

• Submit supplementary reports as necessary (e.g., severe incident reports, ITV reports).

• Deliver outstanding customer service to all insured clients and stakeholders.

• Uphold high standards of professional conduct throughout all assignments.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred.

• At least 2 years of experience in handling property claims.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience with Xactimate and Symbility estimating software.

• Strong understanding of insurance policies, practices, and procedures.

• General construction knowledge is strongly preferred.
