Independent Property Field Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Conduct thorough investigations and assessments of daily property claims on behalf of clients.

• Provide prompt, accurate, fair, and professional service while independently managing a high volume of claims.

• Effectively handle all assigned claims with minimal supervision.

• Make decisions on claims within the authority granted by company and carrier policies.

• Accurately interpret coverage details and implement appropriate claims practices.

• Set and communicate reserves in accordance with carrier expectations.

• Keep current with insurance policies, guidelines, and industry standards.

• Have a solid understanding of local construction methods, pricing, and repair standards.

• Deliver outstanding customer service to all insured clients and stakeholders.

• Uphold high standards of professionalism throughout all assignments.

• Undertake additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Required: High school diploma or equivalent; preference for associate’s or bachelor’s degree.

• At least 2 years of experience in handling property claims.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience utilizing Xactimate and Symbility estimating software.

• Strong comprehension of insurance policies, practices, and procedures.

• General knowledge of construction is highly preferred.
