This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Position yourself as a reliable financial advisor within your community by fostering strong client relationships, understanding their aspirations, and providing customized solutions that cater to their specific requirements.
• Develop and expand a profitable, sustainable client portfolio through proactive prospecting, networking, referrals, and active community participation.
• Offer personalized, advice-driven insurance and wealth solutions that enhance client confidence, foster loyalty, and support long-term financial stability.
• Serve as a visible and professional independent representative of Co-operators, bolstering our reputation and presence in the communities we operate in.
• Possess a valid Life Insurance License (LLQP or equivalent) and/or Mutual Funds License (e.g., IFC, CIFC), or be willing to acquire them.
• Have a background in financial services, insurance, banking, or other advice-oriented sales environments.
• Experience in managing your own business is essential.
• A background in wealth management, B2B sales, account management, or business development is preferred.
• Previous experience in client-facing advisory or relationship-management roles where trust and credibility are paramount.
• Must be a business owner, entrepreneur, or community-focused sales professional who excels in autonomy and long-term growth.
• Demonstrated ability to cultivate trusted relationships and translate them into sustainable business growth.
• A robust sales and business-development mindset, comfortable with prospecting, networking, and creating opportunities.
• Strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and disciplined follow-up practices.
• A client-centric, advice-based approach focused on helping clients and families establish financial security and achieve their objectives.
• Resilience, accountability, and self-motivation, with a strong drive to take ownership of your outcomes.
