Inbound Retention Specialist – Weekend Team

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Contribute to enhancing Yelp’s revenue retention by delivering outstanding and prompt customer support.

• Spend the majority of your day in an inbound phone queue, advising and educating our current Yelp advertisers.

• Demonstrate the value of Yelp to clients by showcasing their return on investment through advertising performance metrics.

• Utilize strong listening and conflict resolution abilities to manage escalated client concerns.

• Become proficient in Yelp’s advertising solutions and swiftly adjust product recommendations to meet client requirements.

• Display excellent communication skills, both with clients externally and with other Yelp team members internally.

• Maintain organization and efficiency in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

• Consistently meet or exceed monthly performance targets.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or over 3 years of relevant experience in client-facing roles.

• Technologically adept with computers and information systems.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Proficient in problem-solving and troubleshooting techniques.

• Experience in account management, sales, advertising, or small business environments is preferred.

• Passion for local businesses and an understanding of their significance within local economies.

• Exceptional time management and organizational capabilities.

• Ability to manage difficult conversations with business owners in a professional and solutions-focused manner.

• Capacity to balance consulting and support as required.

• Openness to receiving and implementing feedback.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment.
