Inbound Retention Specialist – Sales

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Contribute to enhancing Yelp's revenue retention by delivering outstanding and prompt customer support.

• Spend the majority of your day logged into an inbound phone queue, providing consultation and education to our existing Yelp advertisers.

• Demonstrate the value of Yelp to clients by showcasing their return on investment through advertising performance metrics.

• Utilize strong listening and conflict resolution abilities to manage escalated client issues.

• Become knowledgeable about Yelp's advertising solutions and swiftly adapt product recommendations to meet client requirements.

• Display effective communication skills, both with clients externally and with fellow Yelp team members internally.

• Maintain organization and efficiency in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

• Regularly meet or exceed monthly performance goals.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or over 3 years of relevant experience in client-facing roles.

• Proficient in computer systems and information technology.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Strong aptitude for problem-solving and troubleshooting.

• Experience in account management, sales, advertising, or small business settings is preferred.

• Passion for local businesses and a solid understanding of their significance in local economies.

• Exceptional time management and organizational abilities.

• Capable of navigating difficult conversations with business owners in a professional and solution-focused manner.

• Open to receiving and implementing feedback.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.
