Inbound Patient Account Services Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of CVS Specialty operations and the impact of customer service on a patient's journey from order to reimbursement.

• Assist patients in navigating intricate billing and reimbursement processes.

• Cultivate trusting relationships with patients through relevant and meaningful conversations.

• Handle challenging or emotional situations with empathy and a sense of urgency.

• Record each interaction in the designated Revenue Cycle system.

• Document, review, and follow up on patient concerns to ensure resolution.

• Collect and analyze patient information to assess eligibility for payment plans.

• Achieve call center performance metrics, including call volume and quality.

• Utilize technology to communicate with other CVS Specialty departments.

• Maintain a friendly, enthusiastic, professional, and compassionate demeanor over the phone.

• Notify Leadership of potential trends for evaluation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 months of experience in healthcare billing, reimbursement, collections practices, and/or infusion services.

• Proficiency with computers.

• At least 1 year of experience using Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.

• Strong written and verbal customer service abilities.

• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Ability to provide emotional support and demonstrate empathy.

• Willingness to work flexible schedules as needed by the business, including 8-hour shifts from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday.

• A verifiable high school diploma or GED is required.

• Preferred: 1 year of experience in healthcare billing, collections practices, and/or infusion services.

• Preferred: 1 year of experience in pharmacy billing and reimbursement.
