IMS Database Systems Programmer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Accountable for executing IMS data sharing and parallel sysplex.

• Conduct systems performance optimization and capacity forecasting.

• Ensure the security interface with IMS is maintained.

• Collaborate with SMP/E and UserMods, IMS tools, and OEM vendor tools.

• Engage in complex and challenging project collaborations.

• Contribute to a variety of innovative and diverse projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Ideally possessing 7+ years of experience as an IMS systems programmer.

• Proficient in IMS internals, fundamentals, installations, and operations.

• Experienced in implementing IMS data sharing and parallel sysplex.

• Skilled in performing systems performance tuning and capacity planning.

• Knowledgeable in the security interface with IMS.

• Familiar with SMP/E, UserMods, and IMS tools.

• In-depth understanding of z/OS, USS, and JCL skills.

• Working knowledge of CICS/IMS and MQ/IMS.

• Acquainted with interfacing with and installing OEM vendor tools.

• Proficient in IMS system performance optimization and capacity planning.
