Import Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine.

📋 Description

• Process and integrate customer data efficiently.

• Act as a liaison for customer service between the company and clients.

• Address and resolve issues while managing customer inquiries.

• Foster and maintain relationships with customers.

• Prepare essential documents for customs clearance related to imports.

• Monitor shipments and redirect freight as necessary.

• Liaise with CBP and various PGAs.

• Prepare import documentation and ensure distribution to relevant parties.

• Participate in cross-training for additional responsibilities.

• Manage confidential information with discretion.

• Review documentation to ensure compliance with regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is required.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in customs brokerage.

• Previous experience in ocean and air freight is preferred.

• Experience with PGAs is also preferred.
