Import Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Managing and integrating customer data to facilitate the transportation of goods across international borders

• Serves as the customer service representative between the organization and its clients

• Addresses issues (such as billing and shipment tracking) and manages customer inquiries

• Handles Customs and Participating Government Agency (PGA) entries for the clearance of merchandise into the United States

• Engages with relevant offices, departments, and teams regarding all matters related to customs brokerage

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED

• Over 3 years of experience in customs brokerage

• Prior experience in entering customs data

• Familiarity with PGAs, such as FDA, LACEY, EPA, etc.
