This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Client Engagement: Interact with Global Trade, Compliance, and Technology professionals from Fortune 500 companies.
• Requirements Analysis: Participate in gathering requirements to develop design specifications and documentation for solutions.
• Business Process Mapping: Convert client business processes and policies into our tailored solutions.
• Collaborative Efforts: Collaborate with internal teams, including Product Management and Engineering, to provide holistic solutions.
• Project Implementation: Execute both technical and functional roles on medium to large-scale projects.
• Testing and Training: Develop and conduct test scripts and cases, and provide training to clients on the system.
• Troubleshooting: Clarify system issues/problems and solutions to technical personnel. Encourage solutions to meet client requirements.
• Configuration and Customization: Lead low-complexity tasks, producing simple reports and aggregating custom logic with minimal oversight.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of databases, SQL, structured data, XML, and programming languages.
• Effective Communication: Strong interpersonal and written communication abilities for professional and succinct information exchange.
• Team Collaboration: Capability to work efficiently within a team setting.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proactive Approach: Self-motivated individual with innovative problem-solving skills and a drive for progress.
• Inclusivity: Experience in a diverse workplace and global teams.
• Preferred Skills/Experience: Familiarity with the technologies relevant to this role, including XML, SQL Server, and foundational knowledge of programming languages C# and/or VB.NET. Skills in SQL performance optimization, version control with GitHub and Azure DevOps, and basic understanding of AWS cloud services. Knowledge of web services, FTP, or SFTP, as well as log monitoring tools like Datadog or Kibana.
• Process Evaluation: Background in process analysis, design, and mapping.
• Testing Experience: Proven experience in creating and executing test cases and scripts.
• Willingness to Travel: Open to occasional travel, up to 10%, for client site visits, project kick-offs, offsite training, and industry events.
• Experience Requirement: Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with Global Trade, Supply Chain, Indirect Tax, or Compliance processes. Experience with integration or collaboration with third-party enterprise trade solutions (e.g., ONESOURCE Global Trade, Integration Point, Descartes, etc.) is highly preferred.
