IME Quality Analyst – Washington Workers' Compensation

• **JOB SUMMARY**

• The Quality Analyst plays a crucial role in overseeing the various elements of the medical file review process. This position involves reviewing completed referrals to confirm that client inquiries have been adequately addressed, as well as examining the finalized reports for accuracy, ensuring compliance with both client and departmental standards.

• **MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

• *Quality Audits*

• - Reviews reports that accompany medical records to verify completeness and that all client questions have been answered.

• - Engages with reviewers to clarify any additional questions or requirements.

• - Communicates with clients if further inquiries arise.

• - Provides clients with regular updates on referral status.

• - Ensures reports are free from grammatical errors and typos.

• - Confirms that each referral complies with the QA checklist prior to finalization.

• - Formats reports for approval.

• *Communication*

• - Maintains clear and concise communication among customers, reviewers, and the Operations team.

• - Must be able to confidently discuss peer review content with physicians and clients.

• Additional duties and special projects may be assigned based on business needs.

• **EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:**

• An Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

• **JOB RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:**

• Previous experience in a healthcare and/or insurance environment is preferred.

• Familiarity with technology-based processes within a business context.

• **JOB RELATED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:**

• Demonstrate outstanding communication skills with a solid understanding of company business lines. Ability to utilize critical thinking, manage time effectively, and meet specific deadlines. Proficiency in computer skills and typing is essential.

• **WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:**

• Any lifting, bending, traveling, etc., necessary to perform the job duties listed above. Extended periods of sitting and computer usage are expected.

• **WORK FROM HOME TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:**

• Must provide and manage their own internet service.

• Maintaining a stable internet connection is a requirement for all remote positions.
