IFM Strategic Sourcing Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct market analysis, including trends, benchmarking, and expenditure analysis to discover savings opportunities.

• Formulate and align sourcing strategies within designated categories.

• Lead cross-functional teams of stakeholders through sourcing events (RFXs), data analysis, supplier assessments, and contract negotiations.

• Communicate effectively with leadership to facilitate optimal decision-making.

• Collaborate with Facilities Management and Operations teams to implement sourcing plans.

• Draft and modify contracts in accordance with organizational standards and client specifications.

• Develop and execute risk management strategies to reduce supply chain disruptions.

• Provide direction to facility management and operations teams regarding sourcing and supply chain activities.

• Collaborate with and assist Supply Chain and Vendor Management Operations teams in managing supplier relationships, tracking SLAs/KPIs, and conducting business review meetings.

• Assist the Finance team in budget planning and forecasting.

• Promote continuous improvement initiatives for processes and procedures, ensuring adherence to best practices and risk mitigation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.

• Proven track record in developing and negotiating supplier contracts.

• Strong analytical skills for assessing and establishing optimal pricing models.

• Proficient communication and presentation abilities.

• Robust process development and execution skills.

• Excellent project management capabilities.

• In-depth knowledge of supplier management and service integration.

• Outstanding planning, organizational, and performance skills under pressure.

• Leadership qualities to manage both internal and external expectations to meet deadlines.

• Advanced interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders.
