This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +2 more states.
• Develop and present product demonstrations and sales presentations to ignite interest in Idira technology.
• Carry out POC evaluations of Idira products with potential customers.
• Leverage your sales expertise to highlight Idira’s value and unique offerings to secure technical approvals.
• Serve as the technical authority and trusted consultant for machine identity security solutions throughout the sales process.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to convey the benefits of Idira’s solutions to both technical and business stakeholders.
• Conduct technical discovery meetings to comprehend customer environments, challenges, and security objectives.
• Convert customer needs into solution architectures and deployment plans.
• Work with product management and R&D to guide product development and address customer concerns.
• Keep informed about industry trends and new DevOps tools, CI/CD methodologies, Agentic AI frameworks, and best practices.
• Support marketing initiatives to build pipeline and boost lead generation.
• Facilitate technical workshops, webinars, and training sessions for clients and internal teams.
• Travel as necessary to engage with customers, participate in conferences, or conduct on-site training sessions.
• Minimum of 2 years in a customer-facing pre-sales or solutions engineering capacity.
• Strong grasp of DevOps methodologies and tools (CI/CD pipelines, containers, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, etc.).
• Knowledge of cryptographic security technologies including SSL/TLS, SSH, PKI, and HSMs.
• Experience with Agentic AI frameworks, large language models (LLMs), or autonomous AI processes to enhance engineering and automation workflows.
• Development skills in programming languages such as Python, Go, Java, or Node.js.
• Scripting proficiency with tools like PowerShell or Bash.
• Capability to work with REST APIs.
• A strong curiosity about the DevOps landscape and a commitment to staying ahead of industry developments.
• Familiarity with AI orchestration, prompt engineering, or integrating AI agents into development lifecycles.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience in managing and delivering detailed technical responses for RFIs and RFPs.
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts into business value propositions.
• Experience with cloud service platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their secrets management systems (preferred).
• Operational experience with PKI deployment and lifecycle management (preferred).
• Previous experience in identity and access management (IAM), privileged access management (PAM), or secrets management solutions (preferred).
• Knowledge of Zero Trust security models and security compliance standards (preferred).
• Familiarity with Kubernetes certifications such as CKA or CKS and/or Cloud Architect certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.
