Identity and Access Management Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Process and fulfill access requests for SaaS and internal systems while upholding least-privilege standards and ensuring proper approval trails.

• Oversee the Okta user lifecycle, including provisioning, deprovisioning, group assignments, and application entitlements.

• Gather, organize, and present IAM evidence for both internal and external audits (SOC 2, ISO 27001, or equivalent); maintain documentation that is always audit-ready.

• Perform periodic access reviews and certifications, ensuring that remediation is tracked to closure.

• Triage and resolve IAM-related tickets, escalating to Senior staff when the scope necessitates it.

• Collaborate with HR, IT, and DevOps teams on workflows for joiners, movers, and leavers.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in IAM, IT Security, or a similar function.

• Practical experience with Okta or another IAM solution, including user and group management, application assignments, and MFA policy configuration.

• Strong understanding of IAM fundamentals: RBAC, least privilege, access lifecycle, and separation of duties.

• Experience in supporting audit or compliance processes, including knowledge of auditor inquiries and how to present information clearly.

• Familiarity with PAM concepts, such as privileged accounts, credential vaulting, and access review.

• Excellent written communication skills.
