ICT Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Designing and managing ICT and low-voltage systems, which encompass structured cabling, telecommunications, access control, video surveillance (CCTV), and security systems.

• Utilizing BIM tools to model and coordinate ICT systems alongside other engineering disciplines, with proficiency in Autodesk Revit being essential.

• Gaining a comprehensive understanding and execution of the project requirements in relation to scope, cost, and timeline.

• Identifying and accelerating the engineering deliverables for various projects.

• Creating and updating project scope of work documentation and revisions throughout the design development phase.

• Drafting engineering calculations, system layouts, and technical documentation to support ICT infrastructure.

• Compiling technical documents necessary for project execution, including design criteria, technical specifications, and equipment data sheets.

• Evaluating shop drawings and contractor submissions for compliance.

• Generating models and drawings through BIM and CAD modeling tools.

• Facilitating collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams during project development and implementation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, telecommunications, IT, or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated experience as an ICT / telecommunications / low-voltage systems engineer.

• Proficiency in written and spoken English at a B1 level or higher.

• Background in ICT design, encompassing structured cabling systems, telecommunications infrastructure, and security systems.

• Experience in designing low-voltage systems for industrial, commercial, or mission-critical settings.

• Familiarity with BIM modeling tools and design software.

• Practical experience with Autodesk Revit is essential.

• History of working in multidisciplinary engineering settings.

• Knowledge of telecommunications standards and low-voltage system codes.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Capability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively while adhering to project deadlines.

• Self-motivated individuals who are ambitious and excel in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to convey technical knowledge in a clear and comprehensible manner.
