ICT Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Albania.

📋 Description

• Assist in the design and management of state-of-the-art data center initiatives throughout the United States.

• Offer services as a self-employed professional under a formal independent contractor agreement.

• Design and oversee ICT systems, encompassing structured cabling, telecommunications infrastructure, security systems, access control, video surveillance, and other low-voltage systems essential for data center functionality.

• Create technical documentation, conduct engineering calculations, generate system layouts, and verify design precision utilizing BIM and ICT engineering tools.

• Work in collaboration with electrical, mechanical, and BIM teams within a multidisciplinary setting.

• Participate in the entire project lifecycle, from schematic design to construction documentation and coordination.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, telecommunications, IT, or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated expertise as an ICT / telecommunications / low-voltage systems engineer.

• Proficiency in written and spoken English at B1 level or higher.

• Experience in ICT design, including structured cabling systems, telecommunications infrastructure, and security systems.

• Background in designing low-voltage systems for industrial, commercial, or mission-critical facilities.

• Proficiency in using BIM modeling tools and design software.

• Hands-on experience with Autodesk Revit is essential.

• Experience in multidisciplinary engineering environments.

• Familiarity with telecommunications standards and low-voltage system codes.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to meet project deadlines.
