This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.
• Engage in the startup and commissioning processes for new units at a cutting-edge facility.
• Conduct diagnostic tests and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Perform routine maintenance on heating and cooling systems.
• Analyze and interpret regulatory requirements and technical specifications, including blueprints and diagrams.
• Foster strong relationships with customers.
• Elevate issues for resolution when necessary.
• Comply with licensing standards and ensure safe equipment operation.
• Identify HVAC-related risks, complete safety training, and implement effective safety protocols.
• Provide efficient and reliable cooling solutions for data centers.
• Operate independently and collaboratively on installation, repair, and maintenance tasks.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• EPA Universal certification.
• Over 5 years of experience in the HVAC Industry.
• More than 3 years of experience with centrifugal chillers.
• Capability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, crawl, sit, squat, climb ladders, and work on rooftops for extended durations.
• OSHA 30 Certification is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Experience with Carrier, Trane, and Diken air-cooled and water-cooled centrifugal chillers is advantageous, but not essential.
• Basic knowledge of building automation controls (BOMAC) is preferred, but not required.
• Experience in data centers is a plus, but not essential.
• Experience with steam turbines is valued, but not required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are beneficial, but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with ServiceMax is advantageous, but not required.
• Solid working knowledge of 19XR, 30CF, and CDU chillers.
• Understanding of air-side systems (constant volume, VAV).
• Knowledge of water-side systems (hot water, chilled water, condenser water).
• $3,000 sign-on bonus.
