This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Handle the processing of new hires, terminations, and modifications to employee status (including transitions from part-time to full-time, title changes, salary adjustments, and transfers).
• Prepare and facilitate the routing of employment contracts, acknowledgments, and associated documents through Adobe Sign and UKG Ready.
• Ensure the accuracy of employee records and guarantee that all necessary documentation is properly filed and easily accessible.
• Monitor onboarding and compliance elements, such as I-9 forms and state-specific notifications.
• Conduct audits and updates of employee data in UKG; assist with reporting and data clean-up initiatives.
• Aid in documenting standard operating procedures for recurring HR functions.
• Support the team with benefits management, employee relations, workers' compensation, unemployment and wage claims, along with requests for employment verification.
• Keep track of and refresh policies, forms, handbook acknowledgments, and compliance postings.
• Utilize and maintain Asana project boards through a mix of manual entry, automation, and AI support.
• Provide administrative assistance for departmental projects and special initiatives.
• At least two (2) years of experience in Human Resources.
• Generalist experience in a multi-location organization is essential.
• A bachelor's degree is preferred but not mandatory.
• Preference will be given to applicants familiar with UKG Ready or other UKG platforms, Asana or Monday, JotForm, CareerPlug, and/or ZenDesk.
• Proficient understanding of the processes necessary to comply with multi-state labor and employment laws is required.
• Demonstrated strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to follow-through.
• A self-starter who favors a remote work environment and can operate independently while also thriving in collaborative settings with fellow HR professionals.
• Ability to effectively prioritize tasks, streamline processes, and determine when to act independently or escalate issues to leadership.
• Comfortable managing confidential information with care.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365, Zoom Workplace, and digital workflow/filing systems.
• A willingness to leverage AI assistance while maintaining a focus on accuracy.
• Capable of thinking creatively and navigating ambiguity while ensuring compliance.
• Ability to project a friendly professionalism and authority when necessary, while also fostering connections with the team.
