This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Maintain electronic personnel files and records.
• Assist in the creation and execution of human resource policies.
• Manage employee relations.
• Improve job satisfaction by promptly addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
• **HR Operations & Compliance**
• Aid in the development, implementation, and ongoing upkeep of HR policies and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to applicable federal, state, and local employment and labor laws in all operational states.
• Act as the organizational resource for interpreting and applying HR policies.
• Support the COO in overseeing employee relations and addressing operational HR priorities.
• Administer and monitor employee benefits, including enrollment, modifications, and communications with staff.
• Promptly manage and resolve employee inquiries and concerns to cultivate a positive work atmosphere.
• **Licensing, Credentialing & Document Management**
• Keep accurate and current records of all provider and staff licenses across all operational states.
• Monitor license and certification expiration dates and facilitate timely renewals.
• Ensure compliance with multi-state credentialing requirements and organize documentation for easy access.
• Maintain electronic files for all employees and contractors, ensuring they are complete and accurate.
• Track required training, certifications, continuing education, and shadowing completions across the provider network.
• Coordinate and manage documentation related to onboarding, including signed agreements, policy acknowledgments, and training attestations.
• **Employee Relations & Engagement**
• Act as a reliable point of contact for HR inquiries from employees and providers.
• Proactively identify and resolve employee relations issues with professionalism and discretion.
• Promote job satisfaction and retention by encouraging open communication and addressing concerns promptly.
• Support performance management processes and documentation as necessary.
• Assist in developing employee engagement initiatives that align with IWC's organizational values.
• Conduct exit interviews.
• **Mentorship of HR Recruitment Director**
• Provide ongoing mentorship and guidance to the HR Recruitment Director regarding core HR principles, policies, and procedures.
• Support the HR Recruitment Director in understanding and applying employment law in daily recruitment and onboarding activities.
• Review and advise on HR-related documents produced by the HR Recruitment Director to ensure compliance and consistency.
• Serve as an escalation point for HR questions and situations arising within the recruitment function.
• Assist the HR Recruitment Director as needed to ensure continuity and alignment with IWC's HR standards.
• Previous experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
• Multi-state HR experience; SNF or LTC is strongly preferred but not mandatory.
• Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.
• Solid knowledge of employment and labor laws.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated with the capability to perform the job remotely.
• Willingness to work both independently and collaboratively with a results-driven mindset.
• Candidates must reside in the EST time zone.
• Candidates must possess their own laptop or personal computer and have experience with Microsoft Teams and Outlook.
• Must have 3-5 years of experience managing multi-state licensing, FMLA, Workers' Comp, and be knowledgeable about employee laws and regulations.
• Job Type: Part Time Contract 1099.
• Salary: $55-$65 per hour, depending on experience.
• Work hours: 10-20 hours per week; maximum 28 hours per week.
