This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +1 more state.
• Provide HSE leadership for the Electrification Service organization, including the US Field Services team.
• Focus HSE leadership efforts on the West region of the United States (California) and/or the South region (Southeast).
• Assess HSE risks and challenges associated with new projects and formulate risk mitigation strategies.
• Develop and review safety plans tailored to specific sites in collaboration with project management and customers.
• Assist in the selection and training of personnel for job sites.
• Collaborate with Functional Managers and business leaders to offer guidance on issues addressed or resolved through Learning & Development practices, processes, and policies.
• Support the creation and standardization of tools, programs, procedures, and management systems.
• Ensure the sustainable implementation of HSE programs and management systems.
• Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation for HSE programs.
• Implement and enhance processes and procedures in accordance with ABB's guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Manage digital systems and tools utilized for overseeing EL Services HSE programs, including Benchmark and Intelex.
• Assist in the execution of the Electrical and LOTO program, which includes policies, tools, training delivery, training content, and trainer qualifications.
• Lead, conduct, and participate in HSE audits for Service Centers and Field Services.
• Oversee the digital analytics strategy to monitor performance against targets and facilitate internal and external HSE metrics reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of HSE experience, preferably in Field Service; OR an Associate degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; OR a High School diploma/GED with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
• Formal certification and training in Safety and Environmental disciplines.
• Familiarity with local HSE regulations and widely accepted international standards.
• Advanced proficiency in database management systems and MS Office.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 50% of the time.
• Candidates must possess work authorization allowing them to work for ABB in the US.
