This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Collaborate with HR leaders and executive stakeholders to pinpoint operational challenges, establish priorities for improvement, and set success criteria.
• Perform root cause analysis and guide the design of current and future processes utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, and data-driven approaches.
• Create and hand over improvement plans to Project Managers for implementation, ensuring consistency with the envisioned future processes and quantifiable results.
• Revamp workflows, set KPIs, and document standardized processes and governance frameworks to enhance efficiency, scalability, compliance, and team member experience.
• Work in tandem with HRIS, technology, and change management teams to facilitate implementation, adoption, executive reporting, and ongoing sustainability; travel up to 10% as required.
• Over 5 years of experience in process improvement, operational excellence, or consulting, with a track record of successfully leading enterprise-level process redesign projects.
• Certified in Lean and/or Six Sigma (minimum Green Belt) with a robust understanding of continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and project governance methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to independently assess operational challenges, create scalable solutions, and implement sustainable changes in complex settings.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the capability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Experience in healthcare, HR operations, and/or regulated environments, including familiarity with HRIS platforms like Workday is preferred.
