
HR Business Partner – US Operations, West Coast

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Provide guidance and support to Store Operations Leaders in all HR areas, including employee relations, development, policy adherence, recruitment, and training.
• Serve as a cultural advocate to foster an agile, performance-driven environment where every team member is encouraged to reach their full potential.
• Lead and address workplace investigations as necessary, ensuring compliance with company standards and applicable laws and regulations.
• Collaborate closely with employees and management to facilitate the workplace claims process.
• Support Health & Safety initiatives, recommend and implement disability management practices, and oversee accessibility and accommodation processes.
• Coach and guide the Operations team on performance expectations, development action plans, career advancement, and learning opportunities.
• Ensure policy adherence in all US regions where Activate operates by reviewing and modifying policies, as well as delivering policy coaching and training.
• Assist in the design and execution of HR policies, programs, and initiatives.
• Regularly update existing policies and procedures based on new information.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of a long-term Human Resource vision, strategy, and tactics aligned with organizational goals.
• Leverage data to identify trends and diagnose issues affecting organizational effectiveness.
• Collaborate with hiring leads to support and facilitate talent sourcing and acquisition, including crafting job descriptions, posting available positions, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Provide guidance and assistance to collaborators to ensure successful hiring and selection of staff for Activate store locations.
• Monitor the efficiency of the hiring process and evaluate the success rate of candidate selection.
• Utilize the HRIS system to effectively manage the hiring process and candidate pool.
• Degree or diploma in Human Resource Management or a related field.
• Over 5 years of relevant HR work experience.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of employment requirements across multiple states, including California.
• Proven capability in conducting thorough workplace investigations.
• Demonstrated skill in building and managing relationships.
• Quick learner, creative, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
• Strong ability to juggle multiple tasks and manage competing priorities.
• Experience with adapting to new technologies, including hands-on experience with HRIS systems, Microsoft Office, and SharePoint.
• Highly motivated with the capacity to multi-task and manage conflicting priorities.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
