This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with Engineering & Product leaders to enhance scaling, organizational structure, role clarity, and team effectiveness
• Recognize talent shortages, succession risks, and opportunities to enhance leadership behaviors
• Mentor engineering and product managers on providing feedback, managing difficult conversations, handling performance evaluations, and making decisions
• Develop leadership capabilities utilizing Fingerprint’s Leadership Rubric and FLIP+ principles
• Assess team dynamics, alignment challenges, and friction points; implement interventions that boost execution and trust
• Facilitate high-quality communication and collaboration throughout the organization
• Oversee calibration cycles, talent assessments, performance reviews, and compensation cycles for R&D
• Support leaders in thorough documentation, Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), and talent actions as necessary
• Collaborate with leaders to implement new systems, processes, and cultural expectations as the organization scales
• Enhance communication clarity and speed within our globally distributed team
• Act as a functional lead for R&D employee relations, policy interpretation, and compliance in partnership with People Ops
• 6-10+ years of experience in an HRBP role supporting technical teams in high-growth SaaS or product-oriented companies
• Strong capability to influence without formal authority and establish trust with senior technical leaders
• Experience in diagnosing organizational challenges and crafting interventions that enhance execution
• Comfortable working with incomplete information and creating clarity in uncertain situations
• Extensive coaching experience with managers and senior individual contributors
• Ability to rapidly comprehend technical environments, role types, and R&D operational rhythms
• High judgment, composed communication, and a tendency to take action rather than engage in dramatics
• Role requires proficiency in macOS and comfort working entirely remotely using tools like Slack, Google Workspace, and Zoom
