
HPC Advanced Customer Support Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Install and validate software applications requested by users.
• Evaluate, install, and confirm software using various source code build and management systems on the HPC platform.
• Assist users in compiling, debugging, and executing their custom-developed codes across different systems.
• Identify existing software within the portfolio that meets the research needs of end users.
• Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Concept of Operations (ConOps), and workflows to effectively manage the routing of tickets.
• An active in-scope Secret clearance is required prior to starting. (US Citizenship is necessary)
• Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience, a Master's degree with 6 years of experience, or equivalent qualifications.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms with users and office personnel.
• Experience with HPC resource managers such as Slurm or PBS Pro.
• Proven experience in supporting a scientific user base.
• Background in application installation or optimization on an HPC system.
• Familiarity with MPI.
• Experience in building software using CMAKE or Spack.
