House Action Reporter, Legislative Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Articulate complex legislation and congressional processes in a clear and concise manner.

• Produce written content on various topics while adhering to strict deadlines.

• Cultivate in-depth knowledge of designated policy areas and current news developments.

• Establish a network of contacts both on and off Capitol Hill.

• Be available to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary.

• Exceptional analytical, writing, and research capabilities.

• Proficient in working with legislative texts, the U.S. Code, committee reports, and other relevant documents.

• Previous experience in public policy and/or journalism focused on federal government, political matters, or legislative affairs.

• In-depth understanding of Congress, political dynamics, and the legislative process.

• Capability to perform impartial online research related to policy and congressional topics.
