This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Deliver strategic, proactive, and outbound sales for a portfolio of six multi-branded hotels while fostering a sales-centric culture among General Managers and Front Desk staff by sharing best practices and providing peer coaching.
• Responsible for driving ROI for hotel partners and achieving revenue milestones within a condensed sales cycle of six months.
• Activate new accounts in the local market and enhance market share from existing accounts through intentional and strategic prospecting efforts.
• Conduct bi-weekly sales strategy presentations via MS Teams with each designated hotel to report progress.
• Develop and maintain a sales pipeline utilizing Salesforce CRM to manage accounts and accelerate the sales cycle.
• Support the Dynamic Sales Solution model by collaborating closely with your assigned POD (team) to drive revenue across our hotel portfolio.
• Create exceptional client experiences, manage client expectations, and uphold a high level of client satisfaction by acting as a seamless extension of the hotel, representing clients with professionalism and integrity.
• Willingness to travel for bimonthly in-market visits to enhance and solidify client relationships with Hotel Owners, General Managers, and team members, which will help expand sales targets and boost revenue.
• Hotel Industry Sales Experience: A minimum of three consecutive years of sales experience in hotel guestroom sales within business transient, crew, and government segments in a select service hotel.
• At least two years of experience in a Dual or Area hotel sales role is preferred.
• Strong understanding of hotel systems, the RFP process, and brand tools.
• Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively to convert prospecting efforts into actual revenue.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Capability to establish and maintain relationships with hotel clients and team members.
• General knowledge of hotel operations.
• Proven experience utilizing a CRM system to manage your sales pipeline and ensure accountability for daily activities and follow-ups to track progress within your sales cycle.
• Strong proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint) for effectively managing your hotel portfolio through report creation and analysis, delivering presentations, and providing progress updates.
• Ability to work remotely from a home office at a computer for extended periods.
• Must be fluent in French to effectively interact with French-speaking clients.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for creating and delivering general correspondence, proposals, and reports.
• Strong organizational, time management, and adaptability skills are essential.
